Kunek was born inside a small internet cafe and printing shop. The founder ran one himself and got tired of managing everything with disconnected tools: a POS app here, a PC timer there, payroll in a spreadsheet, cash logs in a notebook. Nothing worked together.
So he built Kunek to bring it all into one place.
The name "Kunek" comes from the Filipino word for "connect" (a variant of "konek"). It represents the mission: to connect owners to their business through real-time visibility, and to help customers connect through gaming, internet, and services.
